The course is intended to develop a clear but practical understanding of the learning process and the critical importance of the role of an instructor in providing an effective environment, the use of facilitation techniques, and the assessment of performance. The course supports the required cultural and attitudinal change that is essential for competence based programmes such as EBT. The course is exceptionally interactive, practical and utilises trainees’ own personal experience through discussion, which develops long-term understanding and commitment to course content. The main difference in the LMQ course is that we have a greater emphasis on developing skills and attitudes rather than just giving knowledge.
